Putting Clients First Since 2017

DoubleDay was established in 2017 by Tim McConnell with a desire to continue fulfilling his aviation dreams. Because of his extensive background in all things aviation including four decades of experience as a pilot, teacher, and aircraft services provider, Tim knew that mentorship goes a long way in the aviation industry. He started DoubleDay so that clients could feel dialed into the aviation community.

In addition to convenient charter flight services, DoubleDay focuses on aircraft management, airplane brokerage and acquisition services, and training pilots to take on the skies, all while listening to their clients’ needs so they can help them get the most out of their investment.

Brian Vera

Director of Maintenance

Brian was born in the United States before living in South America where he learned from his father how to work on airplanes.  His Father, an Aeronautical Engineer & A&P mechanic, taught him how to properly service clients and take care of airplanes from an early age.

Arriving back in the USA in the 90’s, he knew he was going to follow in his father’s footsteps.  After high school he joined the United States Navy, where he specialized in aviation, mainly on the F-18 Hornet fighter aircrafts.  While enrolled he obtained his Airframe and Powerplant License from the FAA.  After leaving the military he finished his aeronautical career in Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and at the same time he obtained his Inspectors Authorization Certification.

Brian is also an Airline Transport Pilot with a few jet type ratings.  He has repaired, exported/imported, airplanes to South America and Europe for clients.  During that period, he met his wife, Vanessa, and formed TOUCH N GO AEROWORKS (An Aircraft Maintenance Facility) at Fort Lauderdale Executive airport in 2008.  From that point on, Brian has always focused on safety, customer service & professionalism.  A few years later, Brian and Vanessa moved their operation to The Greenville Downtown Airport, Greenville South Carolina where they have grown it to be one of the most successful shops in the Greenville area.

Ezra

Ezra Davis

Flight Instructor

After spending four summers on a cattle ranch constantly observing F-16s and C-130s flying low and fast across the prairies of Colorado, Ezra decided to pursue his lifelong interest in aviation.  After completing his commercial pilot’s certificate, Ezra continued to complete his CFI-I, AGI, and IGI. After months of instructing, he took the opportunity to serve as a charter pilot flying turboprops throughout the southeast. Ezra is thankful for the chance to continue flying and instructing alongside the experienced aviators here at DoubleDay, and he looks forward to sharing his passion for aviation with others!

Denver Willey

Flight Instructor

Denver was born in Abbeville, South Carolina which is where his love of aviation started. Ever since he can remember aviation has been a part of his life. Denver started his aviation journey in 2019 training in a Cirrus SR-20 and from that moment on, he has strived to better himself as a pilot. Now flying as a professional pilot Denver takes pride in ensuring the safety and comfort of his passengers. As a CFI, Denver’s goal is to help generate safe and knowledgeable pilots who hold safety as a top priority.  If you can’t find him at the airport, more than likely he will be either snowboarding, riding his motorcycle, or camping out on the lake.
